Gregory Wilshaw

Gregory has been a dental hygienist for 12 years, working across both busy NHS and Private Practices.

Gregory has a lot of experience in all types of hygiene treatments including implants and orthodontics. Prior to this he has been involved in dentistry as both a dental nurse and a practice manager since 1997.

Training & Background

He trained in Aldershot at the school of Dental Hygiene and gained his diploma in 2011. Gregory has also completed certificates in basic oral radiography and various tooth whitening systems.

Skills & Expertise

At Braces & Faces Dental, Gregory has extensive experience treating patients of all ages suffering with gum and periodontal disease. His aim is to ensure his patients try to maintain good oral health procedures at all times.

By offering the right dietary advice, individual tooth brushing techniques and good hygiene habits, Gregory knows this is the key to preventative dentistry.

Teamwork

Gregory generally regards himself as honest and hardworking, kind and caring, and tries to empathise with his patients wherever possible. He loves to try and help and install confidence with other staff members where possible, and will always try to communicate with other clinicians about their patients at the earliest opportunity.

Personal interests

Gregory loves to train and generally keep fit. He is currently training for the London and Brighton marathons for 2024. He is also an amateur drummer and enjoys playing and listening to all genres of music. Gregory also attends live music gigs whenever possible.

He also has a second interest in studying cybersecurity.
