Sharmila has been working as a general dental practitioner for the past 18 years. Having worked at various settings such as hospitals and community dental services, she has gained lots of experience in providing patients with high quality dental care in a friendly and caring manner. She likes to understand patient needs by communicating and providing them the best care that is possible.
Training & Background
Sharmila qualified in 1996 in Manipal, South India. After qualifying she came to UK and worked in an oral and maxillofacial department for 5 years at various hospitals. She was a part time dentist in the community dental clinic for 12 years as well as general dental practitioner until 2018. She also studied in various courses to enhance her knowledge to keep up with the latest skills. This enabled her to improve and provide high quality dental services.

At Braces & Faces Dental, Sharmila enjoys treating patients with full range of dental care procedures including preventative dentistry to help patients maintain healthy teeth and gums, to cosmetic dentistry which can enhance their smile. Her specialty is treating anxious patients, tooth extractions, minimally invasive composite bonding, providing teeth straightening with braces, teeth whitening.
